Snapshots of Life | Durango and Bayfield Family Photographer

As a family photographer, one of my goals is to take photos that will take you back to a moment in time. Someday, I will look back at these photos and remember that days that Clare came to the breakfast table with crazy hair and the nights when Rob and Clare spent hours looking for Waldo. I’ll remember our little log cabin in Bayfield and what our family felt like during these days. That’s the beauty of having family photographs.

Elopement in Moab, UT | Durango Wedding Photographer

Hi friends,

For one of my biggest photography challenges to date, I chose to photograph my own wedding this weekend. My longtime sweetheart and I eloped this weekend and chose to say our vows on the banks of the Colorado River. It was incredible romantic and intimate. The breathtaking scenery of Moab, UT provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. I used a tripod and remote shutter to capture our family from in front of the camera. It was really fun and I’m pretty thrilled with how the photos turned out. They capture a truly magical moment in my life. Wedding photography is a field that I am definitely interested in practicing more!
